Geo Week 2023, the largest event in the geospatial industry, wrapped up with a flurry of exciting developments and innovations. With over 2400 participants, the conference brought together professionals from across the field to share their knowledge and expertise.

One of the main topics of discussion at the event was the impact of digitization on the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. As technology continues to improve and become more accurate, the industry is seeing a shift towards more digital processes and tools.

ASPRS, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, also made a major announcement at the event. They released their new preliminary accuracy standards to address new sensors and conform with the new US geoids that are set to be released next year. This development is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of geospatial data in the future.

With increasing concerns about the environment and the impact of human activity, there was a significant increase in discussion around coastal mapping and Topobathy.
